WHITSTABLE

I took a last minute trip to Whitstable on Friday. Luckily for me it was the 1st of September which was the first day of the Native oyster season. Whitstable is essentially a town built on the fishing trade and the quality of the food here is wonderful. I had traditional fish and chips which were delicious, moorish oysters and Cornish ice cream. 

I loved the textures and colours of the town, timber clapboard, worn metal and silvery water. A welcome escape from London.
