Pop-up coffee shop

Kings Cross, London

- Designed at Mohawk HQ

The Guardian open weekend was an event which invited readers to the Guardians offices in King Cross. It allowed the paper to engage and connect directly with customers, with events and talks for a full weekend.

As the event allowed for unprecedented access to a large amount of readers, the Guardian asked Mohawk to capture live readership data. To capture this data and give back to readers in exchange for information a pop-up coffeshop was created. The focus of the shop was a long table with surveys uploaded to ipads. The event was a big success and the table went on the road to continue to capture reader data.
